Families for Christmas Adoption
HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!!!
As you all know it is getting closer to Christmas time again. Here at the Student Chapter of Council for Exceptional Children we have a Christmas tradition, we adopt two families to donate Christmas presents to. These two families were referred to us by the Foundation for Blind Children. Our goal is to be able to give two gifts to each family member, plus money to buy a grocery store certificate.
We will be having a gift wrapping party December 2 at 4:00 in SANDS 235. It would be great to see you there. If you would like to bring a gift for the family look below to see what is needed.
Family #1
Martin (9 yrs old) would like toy cars or a remote control car; wears size 4 ½ shoes, 10 pants and shirts
Jesus (7 yrs old) would like toy cars or a remote control car; wears size 3 ½ shoes, size 8 pants and shirts
Alejandro (5 yrs old) would like Spider Man toys; shoe size 1 ½, size 6 pants and shirts
Maria (3 yrs old) is visually impaired, likes musical toys, wears size 6 shoes, size 5 clothes
Omar (2 months old) likes musical toys; wears infant 1 shoes, 6-12 month size clothes
Mom needs a blender
Family #2
Rhyanne (5 yrs old) is visually impaired; size 7 ½ shoes, 6x clothes: needs diaper/wipes and socks (no toys specified, probably musical toys would be best)
Chanel (17 yrs old) would like makeup, jewelry, CDs/DVDs, toiletries, underwear, computer mouse; shoe size 7 ½, pants size 3, shirts and dresses small
Loreal (11 yrs old) jewelry, CDs/DVDs, overnight bag, socks, underwear, hairbrush, size 8 shoes, small pants, medium tops and dresses
Sharon (mother) especially wants king size waterproof mattress protector, and a cordless phone with caller ID, she would also like a purse, bath towels and blankets
Please help make the holidays nice for these two families.
